Arrival - How to find us in Schladming
Many "paths" leads to the magnificent Schladming-Dachstein Region, and especially to our beautiful ****Hotel Planaihof.
Needless to say, you can drive here by car. Or, for a completely stress-free journey, you might opt for public transportation instead.
It is also possible for you to spend a car-free holiday in Schladming in the wintertime - not least because, here with us, you will be living right next to the piste itself.
Use of the lifts - up and down the mountain - is automatically included in the price.
Meanwhile, travel on local public transportation - such as buses etc. - for your daily excursions in summer is likewise free of charge thanks to the Sommercard, which you will receive from us at check-in.
ARRIVAL BY CAR
You can drive your car right up to the front door of our hotel. Plenty of parking is available.
The Planaistraße is actually a private road that you might not be able to enter into all GPS systems.

From Germany via Salzburg
... on the autobahn (A 10) as far as Radstadt, then on the main trunk road (B 320) for 18 km to "Schladming Ost." At the JET gas station, follow the signs for "Fastenberg-Planai" and keep on this mountain road for 13 km until you reach your destination - the Planaihof.
From Vienna in the direction of Linz
... on the West-Autobahn as far as Amstetten, switching to the Pyhrn-Autobahn to Liezen, then 50 km on the B 320 to "Schladming Ost," following the signs for "Fastenberg-Planai" and keeping on this mountain road for 13 km until you reach your destination - the Planaihof.
From Vienna on the autobahn to Semmering
... take the expressway and autobahn leading to Liezen, continuing for 50 km on the B 320 to "Schladming Ost."

Coming from Italy, Carinthia

From the direction of Graz as far as Liezen

Arrival by means of EV / E-charging station

Arrival
by cable car is free of charge if you provide us with your personal details in
advance. You will then ride the Planai cable car up and walk about 200 meters
to our hotel.
In winter:
Arrival
is possible at any time with a valid ski pass. Ski passes can be purchased
online in advance or directly at the Planai cable car itself. Please be aware that
from the mountain station you will still need to walk about 200 meters to reach
our hotel.
Please also note that, for safety reasons, we are unfortunately not permitted to pick you up directly from the mountain station!
ParkING in Schladming
Parking in Schladming and/or at the car park for the Planai cable car is available for a fee upon request.
Please let us know well before your arrival so we can make necessary arrangements for a parking space on your behalf!
ARRIVAL BY TRAIN
Travel comfortably and in eco-friendly fashion without your car! For a relaxed train journey, we recommend using the nearest stop for express trains which is in Schladming. From there, you can easily reach us by taxi.
